Donald Goskirk

Donald grew up in Sutherland and graduated from Glasgow Polytechnic with a degree in Optometry and Vision Science in 1992.  He spent the next 3 years working in both the hospital eye service and an independent practice in Glasgow whilst occasionally returning to Sutherland to work in the family Optometry business.  Donald returned to the Highlands in 1995 to start his own Optometry practice in Dingwall and continued to work alongside his mother in the Golspie practice.  Donald's involvement in Highland Optometry, as well as participation in Optometry Scotland from its foundational years, have given Donald the opportunity to develop Optometry practices that provide expert eyecare to meet the needs of the diverse Highland population.
